It was a great place for a 3 generation family celebration. Very attractively decorated, show casing local arts and crafts. The kitchen was very well resourced and appointed. All in all it felt comfortable as if it was our second home"

"Such a beautiful cottage, it's so spacious and tastefully decorated to a high standard. Everything we needed and a cosy place to relax after our walks. A safe, enclosed garden for the dog which is a must for us and a short walk into the town with lots of dog friendly pubs and lovely shops. They have thought of everything and Old Forge Cottage is one if the nicest places we have stayed!"

"Such a brilliant personal service from the moment of booking. Zoe decorated the cottage beautifully for Christmas. The furnishings and decorations are stylish and the exhibits of local art such a brilliant touch! We bought a painting! Zoe supports local producers too. The cottage had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean, the bed linen was crisp and the courtyard garden delightful. There’s a fast EV charger in the nearest car park. It’s a short walk to the river and also to the town centre shops. A great cottage that easily accommodated 3 couples."
