Hi everyone,
Last weekend was my birthday, so we headed out for a treasure trail in the quaint market town of Ldebury on the Saturday and then on Sunday a family bike ride to the infamous Bibblins Bridge at Symonds Yat, followed by a very serious round of crazy golf … entirely the kids’ choice of birthday activity of course!
It was one of those simple, lovely weekends that reminded me why I love our beautiful area so much — fresh air, family time, a bit of adventure, and lots of laughs (and Ice cream) along the way.
It reminded me just how perfect this area is for relaxed family celebrations and memory-making. Whether it’s birthdays, anniversaries, family get-togethers or simply an excuse to escape for a few days, Old Forge Cottage is such a lovely place to gather everyone together.
The cottage comfortably sleeps 8 plus an infant, with plenty of space for families and friends to unwind — and of course, dogs are very welcome too, because celebrations are always better with four-legged family members included! Plus I absolutely love helping guests make celebrations extra special — whether that’s leaving birthday balloons, little treats or adding a few thoughtful touches ready for arrival.
If you’ve got a special occasion coming up, we’d love to welcome you!
